City of Bryant featured on SCEDC site

Bryant, AR (August 25, 2007) –

A demonstration of the features the Saline County Economic Development Corporation's web site was held during Monday night's Bryant City Council meeting.

State Senator Shane Broadway of Bryant introduced Paul Doramus and Gary Ballard, who developed the site, which Broadway said is being used to promote Saline County.  "Our purpose is to benefit all of the cities as well as the unincorporated areas of the county."

"Our site continues to be recognized as one of the most functional as it relates to economic development.  I use it every day," Broadway said.  "The site has many new features including the extensive use of embedded Google maps."

Among other areas featured on the site, the new Saline County airport and other industrial property in Bryant is being promoted to potential users.

He called the site "very user-friendly" and said SCEDC "will use it to promote Bryant and Saline County to prospective employers."
